Shakespeare excerpt/cutting
Here is an excerpt of II.ii .from Julius Caesar performed by the Royal Shakespeare Company. The cutting of lines really did not take place, but more so in the addition and subtraction of words. There were a couple of times that the verb tenses were changed, and word choice replaced, presumably to better fit the director's vision. All words that were omitted are marked in red, and all words that are added are marked in blue. The lines begin at the top of the scene.
